huevos have emailed germany and await reply - its just a standard fibo 90 cm rear mount- if anyone knows of a uk source new or used i am very interested- apologies for slightly off topic but thanks for help

that looks exactly like what I would like to do if only I had the rear mount!!! I have the polar mount but can't find a supplier either of original or mod - am trying to make one meantime but any info anyone has would be very welcome indeed

thanks rolfw and eghamhigh. the lnb is new and will suit digital. so its either buy new technomate, keep fixed dish and live with what is available in D and A from 19.2, or poss keep analogue at 19.2 and buy the comag sl65/12 from maplin and experiment with digital from various sats depending...

hi tuco riduculously late follow up to this thread but here's hoping... I am in same situation as u were- have old sky dish currently getting analogue from 19.2. Interested in getting a techno mate. any chance you could tell me what you now pick up and quality of reception? am on essex/suffolk...

all now up and running via pace apollo receiver and universal lnb. Cable was fine and dish is on 19.2e so eurosport +german stuff. Am I correct in thinking that if i wanted to get a digital receiver then this set up would be ok? and what could i get digitally without moving the dish? thanks for...

was just surprised to see 0 thanks to 2CV manin his profile so have remedied that. Excellent bank hol here for dish work- 48 hours of rain so nor going near a ladder at present. Update later when/if I have more beginner's questions.

Merci Monsieur 2CV good weather permitting will be out with a ladder and some rust penetrating oil tomorrow - hopefully hacksaw is a last resort- fingers crossed. Will refer to other posts for Universal LNB cost/suppliers . If the cable needs replacing I guess it needs more than Coax- higher...
