Am I right in thinking that no-one with any dish size at all has picked up anything in the Algarve from the 2E spot? As yet I haven't heard of a single report from anywhere.
I find it hilarious we can technically have a worldwide culture where we can all share but this is deliberately hobbled so that "rights holders" can release "content" slowly, region by region, format by format to maximise profit for their shareholders. TV will go the way of music if they carry...

I don't think any of those channels have moved yet and you'll probably lose them over the next day or 2.

So far nothing at all spot beam on any size dish whatsoever in the Algarve. Truly sad to say goodbye to my setup of 12 years and downgrade to Filmon. Only 2Mb net also so no chance of IPTV and the "other" solution probably too buggy to risk 200€ on. Anyone want to buy a HTPC 2TB low power...
O but what fun trying :) Now how can a get a 5m dish of resin spinning fast enough and without wobbling....might have to put my van on its side and buy one of those kiddy pools...
Apparantly so. I've heard anecdotally that Val de Lobo's 4m dish gets zilch, and I'm getting Zilch with 2m which used to pull in 2D spot beam no problem. Would love to hear that 3m is possible here.
Theoretical noob question, just how big would you guess a dish need to be to get reception in the Algarve. I have a lot of construction equipment and lots of space and I do love a challenge. I'm thinking a DIY monster dish...
