    Just to clarify so I understand the dish size thing.. As I have said previously ...... my dish is 800 x 700 mm ( as in 80cm high x 70cm wide ) not sure where you got 600 from ? Would my dish be regarded as a70cm here ? and if so by that reconing , I would then need one 90cm high x 80cm wide ?

    What size dish then ? the current one is 800 x 700 mm oval as supplied in the basic kit bought from the local DIY shop . The other issue will be a larger dish will catch the wind even more ! Why would rain make the signal drop out almost completely - is this another indication of weak signal ?
