Now it can be done as I was using a modified Topsat 5000 bin here in N.America and the channels were open The Topsat 5000 FTA is the same as the Astrovox 2500 and the same as the Coship 2300b. They are all in the same family. The Topsat 5000 bin no longer works as we went over to Nag 2

I understand that you are not familiar with the 2300b but as you know the purpose of a key bin is to let you put in the latest keys so you can open up the channels. The FTA in the Astrovox FTA is the receiver name and does not nessesary mean that you will only get FTA stations

try this switch on receiver at the back Use any uptool do not set up comm settings just hit upgrade software right away with the file the file that you have if nothing happens switch off at the back then on this should start the uploading process wait for it to load it should say good
