just put the softcam key in the prg folder and select overrite older file.Then when you select a chan right clik select chan properties then select a key that is displayed then select update.

is ther a folder inside the prg dvb folder hat says filters im running v4.561

The ss1 has audio video out i have both ss1/ss2 with a motorised dish never had any probs wwith ss1 only prob with ss2 was setting up to drive the dish.

yes you can but its a lot more fiddlie to setup where as no messin about with the ss1 ss2 is also beter for the lo feed freqs.,than the ss1.

what prog are you useing if using prg dvb have you registerd the elepeg codecks in the prg folder.what version of prog are you useing?

skystar1 has audio vid out will also drive motorised dish skystar2 no audio/vid out prg dvb is the best/easiest prog to run either cards with try searching for prg dvb to find out about all the plugins availlable.

i tuned in to hotbird late last night (ss2) installed new softcam that came out last night i was getting couple multi clearing and xxx some of those only come on late at night did unscramble some other chans aswell if you are shore your prg dvb is fully up to date softcam etc try the update on...

try mywebex.pc i use it to log on to my home pc with 2 webcams when im away i also use biromsoft software for recording /snapshots/live cam.it uploads piks etc to my web space.

Do a search on net or state make of card here befor you buy it to find out. I can recommend the sky star 1 & ss2 plenty of suport & prg dvb is very easy program to use & update for these cards.

If useing prg dvb try registering filters in prg folder open filters & clik register. Also make sure you have latest version of prg
