Well, the DVB9850T is a terrestrial box, originally designed for ITVdigital, and the DVB9600S is a FTA satellite box. So you would need to change the tuner module, the frontend,the software, the remnote control, in short everything. Better to try & buy a DVB9600S 2nd hand! Good luck Swedish Sam

I used the online registration - it simply asks for a name, a postcode, your viewing card number & your credit card details. Online there appears to be no attempt to match the viewing card details to any address database.
