If its the Telesystem box it doesnt have RF output, I bought from Maplin a VIDEO/SCART to RF modulator which effectively gives you an RF output, works fine. Video senders are notoriously prone to interference, especially from microwave ovens in my experience!

you dont use a CAM for the Telesystem TS9000 the tivusat card slots directly into one of the slots.

The card was activated in Sicily at a relatives address no probs. My Father in law can now watch F1 and Italian football etc that was previously scrambled !! They would not sell just the card so he bought the card and Telesystems box for 99 euros.

Its TopUpTV offering Sk*y Sports 1 and 2 for £29.99 per month. Bit steep ? Although I am thinking of ditching my Sk*y package (£52) and going Freeview and the above. Okay its not Sk*y Sports in HD but for what we watch will save us £22 a month?

I think you need to use a particular firmware, try googling it. I think later this year channels like RAI Uno will be scrambled and only viewable via a Tivusat card.

Thats because when you move the box to a different location or have not used the box for some time it needs to refresh the EPG listings (force update and rebuild planner does not refresh the EPG). It does this during the night (3am I think) and until this happens you get no fully working series...

not sure whether it is universal he`s had it years and he would not know. All the italian ones channels he wants to watch.
