our family is emigrating to belize in the very near future, and we are wondering what setup would we need to recive american tv packages such as dish network an directv, prefferably the ultimate packages.

My freind has an old sky analogue dish and reciver, if he plugged it in would he recive any chanells? I am aware astra 19.2 degrees east has german analouge chanells but i know mtv and nickelodeon are on there free, so would it be german or english shows on the stations?
