Is it not possible to use an lnb power supply? I don't know whether it would work or not as I have no experience of this thing but technisat do an lnb power supply.
I found a .ini that contained the following text and I managed to open it using that. I'd tried some of the other .ini files using dvbviewer and SS HD2 but none of them worked except the one I posted below.
[Channel0]

Frequency=11428
Polarity=h
Symbolrate=27500

Has anybody managed to get ITV HD open with a Skystar HD 2? I would be interested to know how they have gone about doing it, is so. I am using DVB Viewer as my software.
He means he will record them on his computer, I think. Capturing is a term used in internet sports circles meaning to record and release the copies onto a torrent format for mass download.
I don't know anybody who bought an ART card for £60 with all those channels. I do know people who paid £80-£90 for ART 1-6. An Al Jaz sport card costs £50 so without those channels, £80-£90 isn't all that cheap as it's possible to get ART 1-6 with Al Jaz from trusted dealers for £120 - £140...
Thanks for the help. I located the problem, it was a poorly connected F coupler that's in one of my rooms. I'd already insulated the F connectors with self-amalgamating tape, to prevent damp from causing me problems.
I was wondering if you could help me, please? I installed my satellite system about a month ago. However, I began to get an intermittent problem whereby the signal would drop to 4% for no reason. After a while it would sometimes come back on again. However, tonight the problem became a permanent...
Thanks for your help. I am not sure it says anything about the foundations, thoguh. It mentions something called "grade" but I don't know what it means in relation to that drawing. I have little or no experience, I can understand the dimensions but I don't know what the drawing is telling me to...
Hi
I was wondering if there was any chance you would be able to help me, please? I am building a ground pole, I have my concrete, stone sand and a seven foot piece of scaffold. I've never used concrete before so I am a tad inexperienced. When I dig the hole do I need to do anything to...
Argh, I get you now, get a tripod, bolt it to a pallet and throw a couple of paving slabs on the pallets as a ballast. Cheers, might be an easier option that digging holes and setting cement. Somebody told me that I'd be alright to put a plastic sheet over the satellite to disquise it and I'd...
Daft question but what did you use to keep the dish upright? I really appreciate the time you've taken to answer my questions. As you can tell, I'm a total novice.
Does anybody know the answer to this, please? Also, if I was to build a ground mount, how deep would the hole need to be for an 80cm dish and how many bags of sand/concrete would I need?
Thanks
I know an 80cm dish is the ideal size but if the council say that I can only have up to 60cm on the wall, is it worth having one. I'm wanting to get Hot Bird and Astra so as I can watch football - I live near Liverpool. As I said originally, I'm prepared to build a ground-mount and stick an 80cm...
