dear all,
I wanna make a home made actutor & polar mont support with all parts by cuting & wellding.
Also using a PIC18f uC & diseqc protocol for controling it.
I will be happy for any drawing & information.

I have got a Pdf file with all that info on, it has some other bits on there about Centrifuges, but you can just ignore those, I will go and get them :p
 
Actuators don't use the DiSEqC protocol. If your receiver doesn't support actuators (most don't) you will need a v-box to interpret the DiSEqC signals and control the actuator.

I have an Arkivator actuator that does.

Wod has knowledge of them as well

I think most receivers supprot diseqc ( mine is SRT-4630), why not ? command to east/west !
1- I want to make an actuator and control it by PIC18F uC and communication with receiver by diseqc, i think it is possible, but i need more information.
2- I want to make a polar monut head unit for a ~1m prim focus dish, if you have any drawin please post.
