fed up paying a fortune new to this need some questions answered

ok been looking in to dreambox have a few questions

1. which box is best for me

2. card sharing do i have to pay for this ?

3. my modem is out of reach of the tv can i get a wierless dreambox or does it need to be directly plugged in to the modem

4. do some internet providers block the signal or web sites i need to use ?

5.is this all run from the internet or can i just use my satellite for channels ?

6.i dont want to get scammed where is the best place to get a genuine box ?

7. found this guy on facebook he lives like 10 miles from me are these settop boxes any good and are they as good as a dreambox ?


most probably forgot or don't know what else to ask if your going to reply and want to advice me on other things please do so thanks in advance for your help

We are a UK based forum and we cannot be seen as soliciting or helping anyone defraud a UK based satellite provider (or any provider for that matter). Any discussions related to commercial card sharing is strictly forbidden on this forum.

If you don't want to get scammed, get a genuine subscription.

We are happy to help with other aspects of a satellite installation but this thread is now closed.

The ONLY way to avoid being scammed is to buy a genuine subscription from your provider of choice - presumably Sky UK as you are based in the UK according to your profile.

Any card share leaves you at the mercy of some pretty dodgy characters - and do you know who is running the share? Of course you dont - it could be drug runners, Russian Mafia operatives looking for a quick buck, hell it could even be Sky UK running a sting operation.

If you go down the illegal c/s route dont be in the least bit surprised if your services ceases after a few days & the operator is suddenly very difficult to contact. And dont come crying to us if you get busted - its happened before and it will happen again. You wont get any sympathy at all.
