diseqc 1.2

I bought several "smart" diseqc switches which claim to be positioner emulators(ie diseqc 1.2). Could be very useful gear, eg no need for receiver with 1.1 support. Any success with those? I had none. Tested with Samsung TV, spacetronik(emp-centauri?) and terra/dvidas(amiko clone) switches. TV...
