1L footprint lies. :-rofl2
Hopefully 1N comply and leave it as before it goes to 28°East.
We'll soon see, luck.

There are many 80cm-100cm dishes in Finland pointing at 19E (it's probably the 3rd most popular location after 1W and 5E). Where my parents live there are a quite a few small shared dishes with LNBs for 19E-13E-5E-1W feeding a number of flats or houses since there is no cable TV. Even in cabled areas 19E is popular for extra choice (many of the FTA channels cost extra on cable). It'll be interesting to see how 1N behaves, will there be some disappointed people here in the coming weeks? In the analogue days we needed large 1.5-1.8m dishes for reasonable reception of 19E but since the newer satellites like 1KR and 1L the signals has been very strong and many old dishes were replaced.

This is bad news. Living at 58.16°N and 26.45°E and using 78 cm offset. I was afraid the Abschneidung(German: Truncation) would come eventually and looks like it'll be here for me once 1N fires up.

No, Astra 1L has been at 19.2E since it launched in 2007. Suggestions are that 1N will take over a number of transponders from 1L.
