Could be Astra 2E, 12480V now very weak in Helsinki on a 1.8m (6.1dB ) Yesterday it was 19dB...

11992H is slightly better at 9.8dB, but yesterday it was maxing out at 20dB. Shame, this was one of my favourite transponders and I was hoping to get a few more months out of it before 2G was in use.

I feel the loss of signal is that now we have all the south.

Normally levels Madrid (Spain) with 94cm antenna more or less as you have now.

Within a few days they fix / solve and will be, as always, on the track north.
Dentro de unos dias lo arreglan/solucionan y estara como siempre, en la huella norte.

12480V now only 4.8dB. This is significantly weaker than other nearby 2E transponders by several dB. I wonder if this is a 2F Europe transponder which is weaker here in Helsinki than 2E Europe.

Here's the full list of moves from last night from 2A North/South to 2E Europe and/or 2F Europe

Reception on my 85cm with Dr.HD F15 in Helsinki from tonight (and last week in brackets)
Tp 06: 11.817V 2.1dB (was 7.2dB Astra 2A South)
Tp 09: 11.876H 1.5dB (was 7.7dB Astra 2A South)
Tp 10: 11.895V 2.0dB (was 7.4dB Astra 2A South)
Tp 15: 11.992H 0.6dB (was 14.9dB Astra 2A North)
Tp 17: 12.032H 1.1dB (was 6.8dB Astra 2A South)
Tp 18: 12.051V 1.0dB (was 6.1dB Astra 2A South)
Tp 40: 12.480V 0.4dB (was 14.3dB Astra 2A North)

No lock on any transponders (some reception in the morning).

Reception on my parent's 1.8m dish with Dr.HD F15 from this evening:

It also crossed my mind that there might be more moves over the next few days. At the moment there are 13 transponders still fired up on 2A (transponders 19-21 and 23-32).

I was rather expecting all this after Astra 2G arrived at 28.2 in the new year. Let's hope Eutelsat 28A can last...

I wonder to want extent this is related with the 2E/2F signal increase we have experienced over here in the past 2 weeks...
I guess this is some optimisation work before the Christmas freeze about to come...

Quick report from Gran Canaria.

I have just checked all the 2A North TPs (as per FlySat) on my Sky box (with the 2.4m Raven dish) and they are all coming in rock solid. I can't get access to a "small dish" feed at the moment.

This may come as no surprise, however, please note that since I had the big dish optimised for 2E (UK) my 2A North reception has normally demonstrated a little pixelation, so unless tonight is a particularly good night, I think they may all have moved to a PE beam.

Maybe it is 2C - can she cover these frequencies?
