Another windy night with heavy pouring rain here. The river near me, which is actually more of a stream and normally less than a metre across (even though it's the departmental border) has burst it's banks, more than I can recall during the last twelve years.


Anyway, as the sun is shining I'll get on with my little project. I managed to get this shot about an hour ago...

The rain finally stopped here - it snowed overnight instead!

I've worked hard today ..so treating myself to the last bottle of Speckled Hen this evening..
I love my real ale ..but sadly there are restrictions on quantity these days ...
Conflicts with my meds..

I'm what's known as a cheap date these days ..

Unseasonably mild here overnight and into this morning, but the wind is quite fierce.

No rain, though, so hopefully the lanes can dry out and the fields drain.
