The green output is the IF i.e. QO-100 *and* TV. The red output is the 25MHz frequency reference output to monitor the frequency or to use for something else. It's a normal LNB with the low end extended and a good frequency reference.

I think that the 5927 has an STV6120 front end. Assuming you are using Crazyscan or EBSPro, modify streamreader.ini to extend the frequency range:
Code:
;! Change IF range (default 950-2150MHz)
IFStart=250
IFStop=2350

I don't know how to do that on software that does not use streamreader.

Assuming you have received the BE01 model (others are available), this is the most concise description of the LNB out there.

The box here has clear detail of the connections and performance characteristics when new.

The BE01 is no different to usual universal LNBs wrt the local oscillator frequencies, so unless you have a PC card, or receiver that can scan below the usual 950MHz lower limit (the Goldmaster SR-525HD is one), or use a downconverter you will not receive the Q0-100 Ku band transmissions.

@MrDish1 The first thing to do is to install Crazyscan and do the change to streamreader.ini. Unless anyone knows otherwise, I think the TBS 5927 that you have has the ST chipset that will go below 950MHz. I can't see any DVB from Eh2 on Ku but some BADR are fine.

Once you've done that, peak the system on something (anything) on 26E. It may need a tweak later but that is a start.

To see what's active look at this web sdr: QO-100 / Es'hail-2 Wideband Spectrum Monitor This is how it was when I was looking:
Screenshot from 2023-10-15 10-34-51.png

Scan as shown in this screenshot:
QO-100_IU4GAV.PNG

It should find the beacon easily. Peak the antenna.

Note that CS hardly ever finds the narrower signals using a blind scan sweep. With a lot of patience you can sometime get down to 125ks/s manually but you must force the default minimum sample rate to a lower figure e.g. 100ks/s. Look at the frequency and symbol rate on the web SDR for guidance. Sometimes it's possible to lock by disabling blind scan on the carrier search window but it's a pain.

I was using an Octagon OSLO fitted with a TCXO and with the probe optimised for 10.5GHz on a 1.5m dish looking through a tree.

You didn't say that or did I miss it? It should work then, if not there are more people in the ham community who may be able to guide you better.

For Amateur Radio, you can use not only USB5927 but also the 6983/6903 card. You can also use lnb InvertoBlackUltra, not only with Bullseye, but with the settings in Crazyscan that @s-band mentioned(#4-above); the test below I did with the 6983 cards.
Also, with neumoDVB, one can view these amateur feeds. The settings with this app can be seen on #727.
