Computer: Samsung N220 Plus laptop, 1 GB RAM, Lubuntu 14.10 64 bit;
MicroLink desktop computer, Celeron 2000, 1 GB RAM; Lubuntu 14.04

Nice fireworks on WDR Köln... of course along with the backdrop with Cologne Cathedral.

By the way, the streaming technology has come a long way. I remember the times when a Cologne based radio station Radio Köln I have been listening alongside to WDR's live feed was behind the WDR over half a minute etc... now the lag was barely noticeable. In fact I've begun noticing for example in the case of our public broadcaster ERR of web stream being ahead of DTT one time.

Still going strong in Koln.

Much longer than at the Brandenburger Tor.

I like the way they space the fireworks out well to cover the city and cathedral. It seems to be a unique way of doing it.

Oh dear. now its a difficult decision BBC1 London, Jackie Bird & the singing shortbread, risk disappointment in Portugal or see whats happening in west africa on 7E

A couple of years ago the weather was so bad up here the Hogmanay celebrations were cancelled :-rofl2

Earlier Antena 3 16e Romania had a concert and there was a countdown then a decent 15 minute firework display.
