Runaway Train is one of those films I continue to watch if flicked past on a channel hop, the cinematography is amazing.
Roughly based on a screenplay by legendary Akira Kurosawa, probably Voight's best outing (Deliverance was Reynolds film)
It is a shame that some films with English soundtracks on the original film are not always available with this audio on ARTE just the German & French audio despite 4 stereo audio tracks being available on the 3 HD versions 19.2E,13E & 5W + SD version on 19.2E,
Sometimes they do broadcast the English soundtrack if they feel like it
i confirm this, here in south France, monoblocks work fine.
Then,in Iceland the angles between Astra & Hotbird must be different..
Which satellite & frequency?Something is wrong with the EPG on Arte.
I can only see the next program, not the schedule for the whole week.
Can you see it ?
I thought it was maybe related to my old receiver but I can see the schedule right of Deutsche Welle for example.
Nobody here knows about monoblock but LNB holders are known. How can I find out about the satbeams ? LyngSat MapsIn Paris (France) the angular difference between 13.0E and 19.2E is about 6.8 degrees,
In Reykjavik (Iceland) it is about 6.5 degrees.
So the difference between the 2 locations is rather small.
As in the monoblock LNB, the LNBs do not touch, that means that you might also use two separate LNBs.
However, it might be difficult as LNBholders often are rather thick; so not allowing LNBs to be close together.
That is the advantage of a monoblock LNB: it allows two LNBs to be close together.
But the distance between the LNBs must fit the dish (effective focal length) and the angular difference at your location....
@Rutep : Did you check the satbeams of 13E and 19E at Iceland? If an 80cm dish would be big enough for the signal of 13E and 19E?
