Well I've finally had to admit defeat and draft in Ronaldo - the guy seems almost in a league of his own!

With 52pts as my team captain, I can't disagree :)

Aston Villa v Sunderland (Setanta Ireland)

SupaLiga Update

Norm's Donkeytown no longer lead SupaLiga. After a continued period of poor scoring, the proverbial has finally hit the fan as Town drop to 3rd.

Replacing the champions at the summit are Toontastic, and with the added benefit of a 30pt advantage over Manchester RED, who remain in 2nd.

My Dynamo are 19pts adift of Donkeytown, and 5th place Satellites RED are an additional point behind.

Liverpool v Everton (4.00pm, Sky Sports 1)

March ‘Manager of the Month’ award winner will be announced Saturday morning at the latest.

SupaLiga Update

After GW31, we have a new leader - S_G's Manchester REDs. Some will argue that is has been a long time coming, as the Mancs had been chipping away at Donkeytown's lead for months, only for Toontastic to leapfrog both of them.

The Toon are now 2nd and 2pts behind, Town are still 3rd, Dynamo are quite a few more points further back in 4th, and finally Satellites RED are currently 5th, with the Screwballs not too far behind.

Cheers :) Absolutely, I mean I still feel I have a slim chance myself, and I'm in 4th!

The fight for 5th is pretty open in AFPL, anyones guess!

After 5 action-packed weeks, both on the pitch and online, S_G's Manchester REDs is leading the league and rightly deserve the MotM award, becoming the first manager this season to win the award twice.

Not only do the Manc sit in top spot, but they now hold a sizeable lead over second place Donkeytown. The champions must now surely have a top scoring April to bring their defence of title to the closing weeks in May.

Malc's Toons may feel very hard done by. Only two weeks ago were they leading the league, but now they are under threat of falling down to 4th, as my Dynamo team trail them by a mere 4pts. Dynamo were top scorers overall in March, and if they can keep that up then even the Liga might still be within their grasp.

Also worthly of mention this month are Devil's Dreamers, who were 6th highest scorers despite being bottom.

SupaLiga Update

With the end so very near, there just had to be one last twist in the tale, or make that several!

First and foremost, Norm's Donkeys have retaken the lead from the Mancs, and if they can keep up their stunning return to form during April, they may yet successfully defend their title. Donkeytown lead Manchester RED by 4 points.

The fight for the top 5 places, and the right to compete in the Champions League, is red hot. My team, Dynamo Sol, remain in 6th after dropping out two weeks ago, but now Toontastic look under threat. The Toons are just 4 points ahead of rolfw's Screwballs. Satellites RED are currently in 5th.

The Mac is back! Norm finally got back into form, and Donkeytown go into the final fortnight on top and 21pts ahead of Manchester RED.

Town and the Mancs look more or less certain of Champions League qualification, as does rolfw's Satellite Screwballs who jumped 2 places into 3rd. Although Toontastic drop to 4th, only a nightmare of a May will deny them a top 5 place.

The fight for 5th continues, as my Dynamo team had a terrible month and must make up ground very fast indeed if they are to sneak past the REDs back into the CL places.

April was a great month for those lower down the order as well with Mad Hatters, Paraletic Athletic, Dragoes and Tossers all scoring over 200pts during the course of the four Gameweeks.

Looks like I got 4th place and my offspring managed to win it. Coupled with a deserved title for the real red devils this is not a bad result.
Anyway, how does the champions league work?
