Most points in a month, most places up, last and only one left in the cup and I get only 2cd place? And to add to it all my son, who is going to give me lip now is first???!!!!!

:-rofl2 I don't normally feel the need to explain my decision, but I will do so that you can sleep tonight, safe in the knowledge that there is no conspiracy ;).

* Manchester RED scored more points than anyone in January (328).
* Manchester RED was the highest scorer in 2 out of 4 weeks, and was in the top 3 in all 4 weeks.
* Manchester RED are now less than 30pts from 1st place.
* Manchester RED climbed 4 places higher up in the table than Satellites RED.
* The PL Fantasy Cup is not considered a factor in the Manager of the Month Award as it is not a SupaLiga competition.

Super Sunday has gone by, with the all 3 big boys missing out on 3 points. However, City's incredible derby victory has seen Manchester RED retake 2nd place from Toontastic.

All of the top 3 in SupaLiga have an interest in Monday night's game, Arsenal v Blackburn, although with 3 Arsenal players, Donkeytown are probably most confident of scoring big time. Conversely, only the Mancs have a Blackburn player in their line-up - David Bentley.

:D Good luck with it, if you're still in it in April then I might even believe you have a chance of winning the Cup itself!

With Monday's Man City-Everton game to go, Manchester RED are 14 pts off leaders Donkeytown. The Mancs will (probably) have three players on show tomorrow night - Lescott, Petrov and Pienaar - while the Donkeys will have 4 - Lescott, Dunne, Arteta and Petrov.

Also in the top 5, Dynamo have fallen out entirely after a poor show of 37pts thus far, Satellites RED and Screwballs moving up to fill the space.

February was a short month (obviously :p), but there was no holding up the challengers on their quest for the top 5 places, of which rolfw was stand out performer.

The Screwballs were top scorers over the month, followed by the surprise package Allstars.

However, it is the battle at the top which looks to really set the agenda in the final three months of the season, as Manchester RED trail Donkeytown by 21 points. Can Norm handle the pressure? Will the young manager have the knowledge to continue his sparkling form? Or perhaps, will there be yet another twist in the story with a 3rd party having a say?

Also worthy of note is that my Dynamo team have dropped out of the top 5, replaced by the aforementioned Screwballs.

I know the feeling, I had Green as my goalie today and put Brad Friedel on the bench Green let three in and Brad had a clean sheet, what a bit of bad management that was

LOL, same here, Ronaldo was only on for 22 minutes and he's my captain, a player you can normally rely on to give yo a few points, add to that the forced sale of Eduardo and Richards with the points dedution, I can't see me having a good weekend.

I had suspected as much Red :D Well, there's still no reason why you can't get a manager of the month award.

SupaLiga Update

Another poor week for champions Donkeytown leaves them with the very real possibility that they will be dislodged from the top spot this weekend.

New in 2nd, malcolm will know that with just 15pts to make up, Toontastic could be top on Saturday evening for the first time since the morning of the final day of last season.

Manchester RED, whose manager S_G (T_G's son) finally signed up :p, are now eligible to qualify for the Champions League, but will need to get back on the points parade if they are to enter that competition as SupaLiga's top representatives after a shocking GW29.

As I'm sure everyone will know, Donkeytown fell from the top on Saturday, going down to 3rd as Toontastic led the league for the first time since last season. Manchester RED had also overtaken Town for 2nd.

After Sunday's 3 games, malcolm has managed to held on to 1st place, but Norm has only a 2pts gap to make up. S_G's Mancs are an additional point behind the leaders.

Looking ahead to the concluding games this week, Man U versus Bolton and Chelsea's visit to Spurs, there are still plenty of points to be earned, with all of the top 3 having a fair number of the players that will be on show in their XI's.
