Slovakian based Radio Tatras International closed over the weekend. This was due to a ruling by the Slovak broadcast authorities that stations based in the country had to broadcast in Slovakian.......

The station has fallen silent so they will almost certainly be removed from the epg in the next couple of days.

SciFi HD will launch onto epg 214 today for its full service launch this evening.

Crime & Investigation Network +1 starts BARB reporting on Monday 23rd February so that one can be pencilled in for a launch.

On epg 823 jazeerachildren is reported to have ceased operating on 28E. A looped message is saying the channel is now only available on Hotbird, Nilesat and BADR 6. Presumably they have sold their slot onto another channel.

Several new part time test channels started on the Zee transponder last week. This is how they are reported to be operating:

55301 broadcasts 1am - 3am and timeshares with Zee TV
55306 broadcasts 2.30am - 4.30am and timeshares with Zee Cinema
55311 broadcasts 1am - 3am and timeshares with Zee Music
55316 broadcasts 12.30am - 2.30am and timeshares with Zee Punjabi
55321 broadcasts 12am - 2am and timeshares with Zee Gujarati

These have now all been removed.

BBC 2W (epg 102 in Wales, 991 outside of Wales) was renamed BBC 2 Wales over the weekend.

This is because the old 2W evening service has ceased.

Red Hot Amateur has moved from 919 to 918.
Red Hot Girl Girl has moved from 920 to 919.
Red Hot Just 18 has moved from 921 to 920.
Red Hot DD has moved from 922 to 921.
Red Hot Fetish has moved from 923 to 922.
TVX FFWD has moved from 924 to 923.

Blue Tube has launched on 924.

Pulse was removed from epg 197 this afternoon, having dropped onto black level this morning..

Rural TV is expected to take over the Pulse +45 epg slot. A test appeared on 11260V today which may well be it. Tagged as 52123

Bubble Hits was removed from 379 on the 13th. They have closed due to financial problems - they couldnt raise enough advertising revenue.

Paramount Channel will rebrand to Comedy Central on April 6th.

Paramount Comedy 2 will become Comedy Central Extra on the same date
