Well done. Are you managing to get audio on all the SD channels?

Audio on HD channels is AAC encoded according to the DVB-T2 standard ;)

@marjanen. No not yet. Decided to have a break re-checking all those pids on my lamedb. My eyes. If you want send me yours I'll surely try it on my solo2.

@BlindFaith. Yes I know but never had any problems with that when the PMT wasn't encrypted. ACC-HE audio is also used on some m*o channels at 30ºW and it works fine here although I'm using cccam 2.30 to clear those ...

Maybe you have tell the receiver that it's aac ;)

I have descrambled a PMT. Here the parsed main audio stream of BBC One HD:

Can I just remind everyone that we have very strict rules about decryption of encrypted services on this forum - our rules are nothing too technical general chat ONLY.

We are definitely veering towards too much info - if this trend continues the thread will be closed to protect the forum.

I thought that was to do with Keys. This is just a discussion on how to do something with an E2 receiver that a TM 54xx does out of the box.

dunno, but if the PMT is not scrambled, the receiver will parse it and can select the appropriate decoder.

That's quite straightforward. You can take any card to grab the mux or a selection of pids. Then you could use an off-line descrambling tool. Afterwards you'll need a parsing tool. What I've posted is taken from the 4T2 Content Analyser.

I understand that and I'm sorry if this could cause any problems but we're talking about (still) widely available FTA channels in western Europe that just happen to be transmitted on a different satellite.

Cheers

Sure. Intended but not forbidden as in pay tv services, AFAIK .

Rest my case ...

Not really. The 28E services are fair game. Means of acquiring access to the replicas on 27.5W are an entirely different kettle of fish and, in this Forum at least, requires more circumspect discussion.

The envelope can only be pushed so far.

And it's almost full to bursting.

AS, not really sure what we are or are not allowed to discuss. I just looked at the rules and it doesn't say anything about keys or patches, not that either have been discussed in this thread. Or am I looking at the wrong rules?
