no, but only because the streams are not transmitted. There's an entry in the PAT and a scrambled PMT but no corresponding ES. Rule: pmt_pid+1 = v_pid; v_pid+1=a_pid

Same story for STV HD. The mux contains only 4 high rate pids -> BBC HD, BBC One HD, ITV1 HD and Channel 4 HD. There is enough headroom (20% null packets) to transmit these streams. Dunno why they are missing..

Your suggestions have been useful now only for dvbs2 player.I'll try later on with TSReader.
Actually here what I did:I took V-pids,A-pids,PMT-pids for each channel from this list and I entered manually, then I assigned each channel DCW for each channel.
On this occasion I found the explanation for Data icons in the player{see #70};for each channel must input video pid.
But this is still not for Dreambox reveivers. Or is it?

..I'm using a different plugin but as Llew proved vplug should be ok.

Installing the plugin and getting the correct key is imho not enough. You have to assign the DCW for each channel indivudally! Dunno if vplug requires the key as 48bit or 64bit. Looking at Llew's screen shot tells me that 48 works ok ;)

Hi Blindfaith, is there a 64bit key for these channels? I only see the 48bit string in the keylist.

Also, your success with DVBViewer is interesting. I get a lock when scanning the TP, but only get empty channels. But strangely I can send over the channels from Transedit with no problem.

every channel must be assigned their respective parameters.

Thanks,@Llew :)I managed that all the Data icons to see them as Video,as you can see from the channel list.
Unfortunately for channels in HDTV,codecs that I have, it seems that they are not good. Here are the codecs I installed for the player.I used all H.264 codecs and none have succeeded.:confused
Which is H.264 video codec and renderer you use? Thanks in advance :)

Really is not for Dreambox.Everything you see in pic. is for dvbs2 card players!
What I have done so far with dreambox was to introduce video and audio parameters, but because Editor lacks pmt, the package still not open. And in this regard BlindFaith was right yet.
I will you try again,and if,who knows,I can, I'll post here.

I tried to see if coded radio programs can be heard.Fortunately, intuitive you can easily find A-pid without having pids list.Process is the same as for the video pid,as shown in the picture below:

Your codecs should be ok but you have to tell the player to use them by editing the stream types accordingly. By default v- and a-pids are associated with mpeg2 decoders. Normally the application will read the stream type from the PMT which is impossible with scrambled pmts ;)

Indeed, when I check in player H.264 codec,I am able to view all HD channels. Now I have problems with the audio.Player does not find any audio codec to match the video codec.I used audio MPEG-2 codec, AC3 to all players{DVBDream,AltDVB}and none fit.
In this case,I think it's not an issue as PMT-pid being crypted, but the codecs!I am wrong?
Please, tell me which is the right combination?:confused
thanks in advance :)

again.. ..same is true for audio. Please read the thread. Audio is transmitted as AAC. The corresponding stream type descriptor is 0x11. But of course your player has to support AAC (not possible with AltDVB!)

Hi, Could this Sat be received in Cyprus?
Thanks

Extremely unlikely. In Iraklio/Crete tests have been made on 3m Channel Master on a Technotrend S2-1600 and Crazyscan. So far not even a small peak on the spectrum. But you never know, there might be a sidelobe over you. I haven't ever read of any for this beam but unless nobody will test we won't know. But if even this is the case don't expect to get away with a small dish.

Hello Llew,

48 or 64 bit is just a notation matter. All CSA control words are 64bit long but the entropie is only 48 bit for legacy reasons. 64bit scrambling was thought to be too strong for eavesdroppers like the CIA or MI5 ;) 2bytes (4th and 8th) are just checksums. Some EMUs require 48bit and fill in the checksum others want the whole 64 bit string.

Concerning DVBViewer, I always perform scans with TransEdit :)

Biss key format 16 digits: X1 X1 X1 Y1 X2 X2 X2 Y2

X1+X1+X1 = Y1 (Check Digit)
X2+X2+X2 = Y2 (Check Digit)

Some only list the 12 digits: X1 X1 X1 X2 X2 X2

Most EMUs ignore the actual check digit anyway so it can be left as "00" in most cases

The BBC feeds on 27.5W on the freq mentioned 11495V are in Biss Encryption. And are very gettable (but as you state only at the moment because a very simple public Biss key is in use at the moment: Assumed BBC are testing on this transponder). As long as your receiver copes with a Symbol Rate of 44100.
