Hi all,

The HD channels require a different BISS key (as yet unknown)

Best Wishes,
Zorch

For HD channels change vpids:

BBC HD: instead of 0x17d5 use 0x57d5
BBC One HD: 0x19c9 - 0x59c9
ITV1 HD: 0x1839 - 0x5839
Channel 4 HD: 0x189d -0x589d

I had similar case with TM-6900 and such substitution helped.

Apparently even more stand alone boxes are capable of receiving BBC from 27.5W. So far Technomate boxes easily do the job as well as Dr.HD F15/F16 and Clarke-Tech HD5000.

Very interesting Iggy,
just when i thaught my original thread had gone cold.
with openbox s9 and biss keys installed ,no joy ,
i even entered in setedit the pids ,
then sent via usb to box,
so how come the t mate achieves this if the pmts are scrambled?

Well, the best person to ask this is zola22 as he managed to achieve it on his TM 6900. I'll be smarter when I get my new Cllarke-Tech HD5000.

In attachment one of zola22 printscreens he posted in other forum.

I want to find the cheapest box I can get this on. Would even be willing to mange without HD and I don't need a PVR function.

The problem is that the receiver does not "see" the BISS system id. If it can bind to the channel - all will work.

I do not know if pids in hex are valid for all receivers, probably yes, but the pids for dvbs2 card are the same as before.I verified this with AltDVB and,as seen in pic.,they have not changed.Unfortunately I have not found a way to make to hear the HD channels.
So far the only problem for Dreambox in HD is that you can not edit PMT pids.I think if we could edit this pid, maybe with this receptor might see this package.

And with the info bound to leak out all over Europe you can guarantee as soon as the BBC realise thousands of folks have cottoned on to the channels on 27W they will be secure encrypted (Power Vu'd maybe?)

Joke or not, I think the BBC will not change their encryption system for the simple reason that interest for this package is not a mass phenomenon, more so with how his reception in most part of Europe is possible only with big antennas. And there is another reason, this satellite is interesting only for this package.I do not think anyone will invest a lot of money to buy a big antenna only for receiving this package. If there are such cases, they are exceptions. For BBC,change their coding system would cost the company more than what "lost" now when only a few users manage to see this package but then with the problems.
If we watch the debates on this forum about the BBC package reception, found that most users are more from the mainland of Europe and less from the island.I dare say that most of them are more dxs and they are seeking satellite signal than consumers of regular programs. The more difficult the signal received ,more so the challenge is greater.
I would not want to understand that we are not interested in the contents of this package, but the focus is more on reception and challenges arising from it.

I noticed that method of saving pids in receiver TM-6900 while analyzing setting file. Look at attachment... example for Channel 4 HD

tm6900.JPG

ps. Nazwa kanalu = Channel name

Today I'am sure that, that method is correct for TM-6900 (and clons CTech5000HD, Dr.HD F16), video pids and only for 4 HD channels.

Besides, I agree with iggy and satesco... EOT.

These feeds are barely more receivable than the FTA DTH transmissions from 28.2ºE. They are on the UK spot beam of Intelsat 907. Frankly I don't know why they have even bothered with the "soft" encryption in use. Is there any evidence they regularly even change the encryption parameters?

Thats a very good point. Theres no problem whilst its the province of the hobbyist.

Look at card sharing - 4 or 5 years ago the providers wernt bothered if a few thousand hobbyists were doing highly technical things to watch new signals. Then the organised crime syndicates cottoned on and all of a sudden boxes are being sold for a few tens of pounds preconfigured with Sky UK access. All of a sudden the numbers are more like hundreds of thousands of folk getting involved, advertising of these services is more and more blatant and the pay providers are losing a fortune.

Long may there be folks who are interested in chasing down signals just for the pleasure of getting it to work :)

True, I agree with your reasoning, moreover, most of Europe can now watch their channels from 28,2e on relatively small dishes so It would be quite a stupid idea to take expensive actions against this small bunch of sat freaks whereas their signal officially leaks into greater part of continent.

You can if you use Dreambox Setedit. Just lock the parameters after adding the PMT value in Change Channel Data, and the receiver will lock the channel- and then of course time out after not resolving the PAT O-no

That's as far as we can get with Enigma 2 of course.

Inverto Volksbox 6651 N web edition easily scanned transponder and saved full package. Test performed on 115 cm offset dish.
