    Intelsat 901 / MEV1 mission

Just done quick check on 11495V. 1.2mtr dish located Fuerteventura (canary islands). Readings more or less (within 1db) same as have been for last few years. If 901 is the active bird now then footprint here does not seem to have changed.

    Bt sports in tenerife

Bit late replying. In Fuerteventura you can get BT sports on a quality 4.5 mtr dish. Not much margin for rain fade but certainly do-able although may have to sacrifice some transponders on the UK beam ie maximise 2E then will struggle with 2F & 2G etc and vice versa. Tenerife was in the past...

Again out here on our little rock. Just been informed that towards end of year we could be offered an upgrade from 600Mbit synchronous to 1Gbit synchronous.....bit of a jump in a year going from 6-8 Mbit ADSl to 1 Gbit. The 600/600 with unlimited landline (local area) mobile 200mins and 5Gig...

    TV Explorer or Rover STC

thanks to all. Do like the look of the hd ranger and i guess the lite or ultralite would be more than adequate. Still a bit over budget. Will be sticking in a silly bid on that one on ebay but doubt I will get it for what i bid. No comments on the rover stc...guess that says a lot and presume...

    TV Explorer or Rover STC

Currently have an emitor satlook HD which is fine for 28.2E/19E etc over here in the canary islands but find it does struggle locking on some of the HD signals. (Will not lock on to 27.5W despite spectrum showing everything and technomate receivers showing 75% quality). Also lock is a little...

    Advice Needed Sky Ireland

Or you could get a uk subscription via Northern Ireland as this will also open up RTE etc. Although mine has a slight problem in so much as about 1.30 each day (just after news) I get the message that ´this program is not available´´. Although after a short while everything goes back to normal.

    Best receivers for Fringe Reception

From right out on the fringe I have tested a few different receivers. Yesterday compared a TM5300 super, Amstrad DRX890 HD box and Hirschmann S hd203. On same channel the technomate was severe pixellation, the amstrad just about ok but the hirschmann was clear. Hoping to test the hirschmann...

Have a slight problem.... current configuration is Terrestrial antenna and sky dish connected to a tv/sat combiner then a cable through the house internal wiring eventually ends up at the tv point (tv/sat splitter) where the terrestrial then goes to tv and the sat to a sky HD stb. Need to add...
