Nice catch, Chris. That satellite is a royal pain, though BBC is available most of the time on my 1.5m. Only locked TPC a couple of times though....

I am still using the 1.25 with C-Band 7.5° off centre. Wasn't able to scan last night as I had to go out in a hurry as my alarm was set off at my other house!

Hopefully I will get a good chance to scan it properly with the tbs card :-)

Nice one -- the AFN t.p can be an odd one to lock sometimes ....
which of your dishes are you currently using for this ?

Hi just locking AFN 4175 R 28000, I cant get a picture on the test card I will try a few tweaks.

Never seen the test card Martin.....post the pic if you manage to get it thanks.

Guess you are enjoying the C-band searches. respect-057.GIF

Saw this on 4175 with PowerVu way back in March this year:-

hi martin --
The test card is still active on that transponder .... it scans in with the i.d. - ch 8 ... or - Slate ... on my F15
its more tricky than the bbc transponder .. and may need a different plate position ... or scalar feed position too get the best signal from it ... this is how it can be on my offset dish ... its a rather odd transponder ................

Hi nelson thanks, I was only getting a low signal on it before I removed the plate, I can still get the BBC TP with the plate removed, I am going to try a few tweaks tomorrow and see if I can improve things :).
