Hey guys - i dont own a van, so cannot easily visualise the space, but I can borrow one.

Im seriously thinking of getting either a Gibby 1.5m, or CM1.8 - does anyone know if a CM1.8m will fit in a FORD TRANSIT CUSTOM 2019 model?

I cant get a clear answer from google re rear door dims.

Has anyone done it?

thanks, so it would go in in at angle anyway worst case.

There are the wheel arch intrusions to consider as well but it will fit (I think...).

It will fit inside easy.
I sent a 1.8m dish, polar mount and tripod groundstand down to a client on the South Coast in a Ford Transit, no problem.

If you can avoid them, dont use ratchet straps to secure it in place. Or if you have to use ratchet straps make sure they are not cranked tight. I prefer to use bungee cords.
If you wanna protect the rim get some foam pipe insulation from a hardware store. Screwfix sell it in 1.0m lengths.

Don't know transit, but 180 did not fit vivaro\trafic (well, maybe by a few cm with brute force and trouble, so roof was the easy solution!
see how far have you travelled to get a satellite dish?

Was a fine trip that one. 1000km ? or so. Alas the CM was sold, 3 reasons. 1. Never got around to make a proper mount (concrete etc) 2. 28 efg UK levels somehow improved in my region so could do well (enough) with a ('tiny') 130cm 3. A guy came by and desparately wanted the CM, paid well.

it was a Ford Transit CUSTOM - not a full height transit - - (nor do it fit in a VW transporter) - as per other post, i ended up hiring a Luton Van
