Is it possible this was from 12.5 West? As you probably know Gowran Park is the racecourse near Kilkenny. There were a couple of feeds reported on Satelliweb this week on 12.5 West. And I never saw any feeds on 11 West from the UK or Ireland.

I only get one transponder on 11 West 11565 H 8000, with the Capri channels. 11 dB fairly strong signal. Can you get that one.? On 12.5 the strongest one is 11408 V 27500, with the KTO channel, 16 dB.

Yes its from 12.5W, Rascals is quite new to feeds (I think) but he's making the effort to find and report them.

Thanks Blademedia for kind words, sorry to forum for wrong satellite.
Should have a new Laminas OFC1200 Dish in a few weeks to replace my 1M 10 year old Joe Bloggs steel dish
so I should get a little better narrower beam, dxhound2003 I will check what tp's available to me @ 11W and report soon.

I still do it myself Rascals :D don't worry about it, what you will find will you get pulled up when we do it, it gets a bit boring after a while but it does learn us to try and cross reverence, I'm quite sure you will have the main sites to check but here you go just in case.

+1, "Rascals" is a welcome addition to the feed hunters, its nice to see new faces popping in on the action.

Yes, the narrower beam width of a larger dish should reduce overspill from neighbouring satellites. For what its worth, I still get overspill on a 1.25m dish if I am scanning a satellite within a couple of degrees of a satellite that has high power transmissions.

Here is an actual feed from 11 West, courtesy of Satelliweb, European time. Fairly strong 9.7 dB signal with me. ID = ita 691.

I certainly get the wrong satellite sometimes. The very nature of some feeds means that if you spend too much time cross checking by the time you get it posted it is gone.
