I have vu+duo2 with 4 sat tuner. 120 cm motorized dish with inverto black ultra LNB. I live in Sweden. I have strange problem. I receive all KU transponders on 0.8 W satellite with excellent signal, with exception of 12437 H 3000 2/3. I use only tuner A , i tested other tuners , but same problem. I have played with transponders parameter , but still no signal. i have tested different images , including original image. The dish , cable and LNB is ok , as i can receive most of channels from 12W to 47 E. Any help and suggesions is appreciated. Yhanks in advance.

Just checked, on my VU+ Duo 2, running Black Hole, and there's no problem, with that transponder. I'm in the UK and get 9 channels, on 12437 H 30000 DVB-S2 8PSK 2/3.
If you're getting a strong signal, on all the other transponders, look for an external source, of interference, like a DECT telephone, or other.
If possible try using a friends, or relatives dish, on your receiver, and see if it scans in.

Yeah check for DECT interference - 12437 is close to one of the bullseye frequencies for DECT trouble.

Thank you very much for your reply. I do not have DECT. I have 2 questions , would neighbour DECT affect my satellite receiver ? would DECT interference cause glitching or no signals ?
Thanks in advance.

DECT tends to only wipe out a couple of specific frequencies - one is centred around 12460MHz.

It might not even be in your house - a neighbours phone the other side of a shared wall could well cause enough interference to kill your signal.

However you need to narrow down the options. For example if you put another receiver onto that cable does it work now? If so then its a problem with the first receiver (selectively deaf tuner?). If its still dead then its an external influence, (duff lnb possibly?)

If its worked before thasn have any new comms masts gone up recently nearby that could be wiping out your reception?

Have you tried changing the frequency 1 or 2 MHz up or down?

Check with your neighbours, to see if they are experiencing any problems, with that frequency, and work colleagues.

Today i borrowed Dreambox 500HD from a friend , i test it at my home , it could find all channels on 12437 with very strong signal. That means that there is no problem with dish, LNB , cable . It also exclude DECT - interference. what i can not understand is that i have 4 sat tuner on my vu+duo2 , since i bought it for 2 years ago , i only used only one tuner ( tuner A) , i never used the other 3 tuners, but when i tested the other 3 tuner , it was same problem ( no signal on 12437. I also tested with a ready to use channel list, but no signal on channels that on 12437.

Some receivers are more sensitive than others, to interference.
I know my VU+ Duo 2 had prolems with Sport 1, the German FTA sports channel, on 19.2E, from my DECT telephones, whereas my old Echostar 3600 didn't, unless the telephones were closer.
Check Sport 1, on 19.2E, the SD version, 12480 V 27500.

Try moving your receiver, as far away from its current position, as possible, even if it requires a temporary cable extension, then see if 12437 will scan in.

I think you'll need to take the receiver to a friends, relative, or even a shop, with a dish pointed at 1W, then see if it will scan in the frequency.
You need to definitively prove that the problem is with the receiver, or tuners, instead of with your setup, or interference.
It has been shown, both on this forum, and at least one other, that there is no problem with the VU+ Duo 2, and that frequency, so either your receiver is faulty, or the problem lies elsewhere. Only by testing it on another dish, in another location, can we start to find out where the problem lies.

Today i borrowed VU+zero from friend. I tested with my equipment at my home , i could get all channels on 12437 on thor 7 without any problems and with very strong signals . I do not understand why i cannot get any signal from same frequency with my vu+duo2 using exact same equipment. My duo2 have 4 sat tuner , 3 of them i have never used. everything else on my vu+duo is working perfectly.

The only things, I can suggest is to restart your VU+ Duo 2, from the menu options, then do a manual scan.
If that fails then re-flash your image, and before loading anything else, including a channel list, do a manual scan, of that frequency. 12437 H 30000 DVB-S2 8PSK 2/3.
Did you try your VU+ Duo 2 on someone else's dish?
Have you tried loading a channel list, that already contains those channels?

Thank you for your reply . I have re- started the receiver , searches manually , re-flashed , tried all available images for vu+duo2, but still same problem.
