Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me with this as I am a bit stumped and couldn't find any info after a long search through google. I have two satellites up at the moment, one is an old sky mini dish (aka zone 1 I believe, 40cm or so) and the other from lidl (about 40-45cm I think). I use a splitter to have them both plugged into one receiver, and everything works fine (good strong signal from my home near not far from Liverpool). I don't remember which dish is pointing at which satellite (13e and 19.2e) off the top of my head but they could easily exchange the satellites they receive if that was necessary.
What I want to do is to be able to pick up 9e from the satellite that currently picks up 13e. I have seen an item called clipsat that uses a bracket to add on another lnb for this very reason for about £15 but it proposes that you have at least a 70cm dish. I am wondering if anyone has managed to do this sort of thing with a smaller dish. I know some of the guides I read about 2 years ago when both dishes were set up said that I should have a much larger dish just to receive hotbird 13e and astra 19.2 in the first place as I do now but as I have said, these smaller dishes work fine.
Would it be asking too much to add another lnb somehow to get 9e from the same satellite as the one currently picking up 13e or is there any other work around that I am unaware of.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
