Dr HD D15 16/32 APSK
Just been reading the pdf manual, and it says that the chip is 16/32 APSK compatible.

Has any one tried this?

My DrHD F15 (older version than the D15) can lock on to some but won't decode anything.

Interesting. I have one but as this is used for occasional feeds its going to need some fishing to test a signal out... unless someone knows of a regular transmission in this standard?

The front end may well be able to lock and demodulate 16/32 psk ..but it may well be that the firmware/cpu can't handle the resulting demodulated signal ..
I hope I'm wrong tho'
Apparently Loveworld in Cband 10E is broadcast in 16PSK ..
but I cant lock it ..
Perhaps someone with the D15 and a huge BUD wants to try it ?

so is anyone selling these in the uk as yet ..
on ebay approx £120 plus postage ...from Germany..

any truth to the rumour that TM is/was bringing out a new box that does this and more ?

We will have to wait & see last thing I was told that the box looks promising but the software still needs work by the Korean engineers to make it all work as it was intended o_O

Take a look at the openbox sx6 hd Chris, it also opens certain multi stream from what I can make out, I might order one :).

I had a good look back in January but could not find a uk seller then, I have a bit of spare cash I might look into it again :).

Dr HD D15 is similar to technomate f3/5, technomate 5402 m3, clarke tech 4100 hd and blade 5000. None can decode 16/32 APSK.

Sod it ..
in fer a penny etc etc ..
Got one (SX6HD) on order via Ebay ...

You know what they say ..about fools and money ..
Well ..thats me unfortunately.

I have a OB SX4, same as SX6, but less card readers and no SCART. I can't remember receiving 16APSK or 32 APSK with it, but I have had 16apsk with my computer card. In dxtv.de some one has reported receiving 16APSK with SX6. The box does not tell you the modulation, but FEC it tells you. So I might have been watching a 16APSK feed without knowing it. 16/32 APSK are usually feeds and they need high SNR for picture. My SX4 finds 45E 12526 V DVB-S2/32APSK MPEG-2 32720 3/4 Fox News Channel (flysat) transponder in blind scan, but does not find the channel. It could be the 13 - 15 dB SNR needed (I have a 110 cm dish in Helsinki) or it could be scrambled with PLS. There is no place to put in PLS keys. At the moment I can receive multistreams in 10E (two channels) and 5E (a lot of ukranians). 12,5W is blocked by balcony wall and there is one italian shopping channel in 31.5E, all other multistreams are PLS.

The signal quality scaling (%) is useless, you can have a perfect picture 1 % quality depending on the modulation and fec, there are no dBs. Difficult to aim dish with it. Finds and locks low SR, easier with a PLL LNB. You can watch 422 with you pc using airtivi program. I have had the box for over a year. I bought it when they released the multistream firmware, but the multistream features have not developed since. New features developed are iptv etc.

Apparently my Amiko A3 will do 16 APSK, but like VS I cannot lock Love World to try it.

A better title for this thread would be "16/32 APSK capable satellite receivers"

45°E 12526 V is not only a M.I.S but it's also a continuous stream, you can forget it with your receiver.
There are dozen of channels in this stream, not only Fox News.

Just a reminder, the Qviart Receivers are 16APSK (and 32APSK) capable .
We already talk about it , I don't remember the thread)

old of my screnshots;

BBC feed @ 28.2°E
VRT Feed @ 23.5°E

no 32APSK TV screenshots, only one feed reported in C-band but I never found it by myself.
