hi everyone.
need help with this installation any info much appreciated.

installed a minidish last weekend to pick up 16e, i am using a single output thompson lnb which came with the dish. when i move my dish i can pick up 28.2e,25.5e,23.5e and astra 19.2e with no problems but 16e is being a real problem to pick up. could it be the lnb which is not good enough i have heard the eutlesat signal is weak? could it be dish size? could it be were i live, ilive in north west london wembley area.

thanks for any help

Try the Albanian channel Als&t on 10956 H 2821 2/3. That should be easily picked up on even a minidish.

If you are hoping to get the DigitAlb channels you will need a bigger dish.

One thing first: wooop wooop Wembley !

what type of minidish have you got zone 1: 50 cm or Zone 2: 60 cm ?

Mark

Doesnt make any difference for the strongest channels - Ive had Als&t on a zone 1 in the past. Not much else off 16E though!

i could get it fine on a zone 2 in london, and according to the footprint 50cm should be fine however i know the zone 1 is something like 48cm ?

thanks for all the info guys i apreciate it.

i have another dish which is picking up tv cabo on 30 west but cancelled my subscription(to expensive). it is a 60cm dish this should work then? i will be using a twin titanium lnb.:)

all i want is to pick up sic international.:)

60 Cm should be fine if looking at the correct transponder!

And im sure that channel is on 30W ?

Well, there is always 40.5 W, with a slightly larger dish and change of LNB.
