Embarrasing Question.......

How can you tell where your dish is pointing? (19.2/28.2)

I installed the thing too O-no I just pointed it in the general direction of next doors dish, bought a cheepo sat signal strenth meter & woo hoo It worked :)

While we are here what is the difference?

I picked up a sky digtal kit up a few years ago & have used it for freeview
Kinda just threw the dish up & thought....... Scheesh I'm a scientist :D

You should be able to tell what you are pointing at by what you are receiving J.M. So if you are receiveing the Sky digital free channels, BBCs and Sky news etc, then you are on 28.2 East. You need to go to www.lyngsat.com and look at the information for the various satellites, then you can see which channels are on which.

PS. Probably not a good idea to have your E-mail address as your user name, will take out the second half.
