19E analogue - one year left

Its exactly one year until the remaining analogue channels are closed on 19E, so if you are still watching via an old analogue box you need to start thinking about moving over to digital!

Final closedown for anything that doesnt shut down during 2011 is 0200 uk time on April 30th 2012
 
When will the analogue transmissions on 62,0*E; 70,0*W etc end?
 
No idea. I cant get them so Im not particularly interested :D

I'm using my old analogue receiver Drake ESR 300s right now with Inverto BlackPro 0,2dB LNB. :)

Just wanted to ask: I have three analog receivers by that time and I want to record all the closures on 5W and 19E. Is someone going to record this moments? Now I'm ready to record only three channels (one from Atlantic Bird, and two from Astra). I don't know, is it necessary to buy more receivers to record more channels?

I guarantee the closedowns will be on Youtube a few minutes after closedown :D
 
Closedown of ALL the 19E channels? ;) 33 channels are now on air. I can write three of them :) And, maybe, more :) Another problem will be that I have only three dishes (all 60cm), and I don't know, if it is possible to connect two (or three) receivers to one LNB and receive several channels simultaneously (in the same polarity, of course).
 
The main ones - anyway there wont be 33 left on air by the beginning of April next year. Some of the small ones are bound to close later this year.

No wonder Granny looks confused; she appears to be flicking through the SRG channels. :D
 
Maybe, exact dates of some closures are known?
 
No - although there are rumours some of the "small channels" may go in 2011.

so Eurosport with English audio will be gone pity you cant add English Audio to the digital reception on 19.2e

There are several DVB Eurosport channels/ packages with English audio...but require subs.
 
Im pretty sure the German fta version of Eurosport will disappear behind a paywall once the analogue version goes.

oh darn i hope not its been handy for years football,tennis,wsbk,tour de france etc and much much more
 
A new channel has been added -> Astra 2C @ 19,2E: 10993.75H ARTE Deutsch (PAL, clear)
 
Just moving from 1H to 2C
 
Think that was 1L to 2C. 1H only carries digital channels.
