Wanted 1m Dish

I have a old Lenson Heath 1m dish in my garage + pole mount. I had it in south of France for five years, and it worked well. Moved out (Lockdown woes) and brought back the dish, to use in another French house. But that might not happen now.

Actual sizes - horizontal 100.4 cm - vertical 106.7 cm - Weight 13.6 Kg (packed - actual weight would be less)

Where abouts are you based?

Really nothing on Facebook market place ?

Only either really tatty scrap or people that want me to take the dish down for them.

Or dishes being advertised as a 1m and they’re not.

That’s a shame, thats a 300 mile round trip. Using the measurements I’d need to bring the van so that would be £60 in diesel.

Hopefully something local turns up soon.

It’s annoying you can’t buy a 1m for £50 brand new like 15 years ago!

I have seen that Triax but it’s only 98x89cm. Not really sure it will be an upgrade on my 90x85cm.

I have spoken to the seller of the 3rd dish and it’s actually smaller than my current dish which is a shame as it’s local.

I need a Triax TD110, Gibertini OP100 or an Orbital 100cm really.

I should never have given my Orbital away and wouldn’t have if I knew it was going to be difficult to replace.

You really DON'T want an old TD110 - unless:
- you will be installing it at ground level (or are otherwise prepared to risk falling off a ladder because it's big, heavy and very difficult to align!!)
- And you have an infinite store of patience
- AND you are an absolute sucker for punishment and want scrapped knuckles, pinched fingers and are prepared to swear a lot!

Take that from one who "knows"

I can’t get the original 110 in the car so it’s a bit of a non starter but I know what you mean. That elevation design is vile.

I’m holding out for a Gibby 100 or an Orbital.

I’m in no real rush for one, my Gibby 85 is performing well enough.
