2 box subscription abroad

A friend of mine is getting his Sky box sorted here in Cairo, he wants the 2 box subscription. I told him I didn't think that would work here because both boxes need to be connected to a U.K phone line. I just wanted to make sure what I told him is true.
 
Yes, that's correct Robbie, they will charge full price for both, as soon as they fail to receive a callback from either box.

thanks rolf, I thought so, at least I might be able to get him to sell me the second box.
