Guys, I would like to have 2 boxes (Foxsat HD & Dreambox 500) running off the same aerial connection that is in my flat, it is possible with one of these _http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=29530&doy=12m4&C=SO&U=strat15

thanks

If you only have a single feed then you are limited in what you can do when splitting signals. One box would be a master controlling polarisation and band. The second box can only receive signals from the same polarity and band as the master. So for example if the Foxat was the master and you were watching BBC on 10773H then the Dreambox could not see any vertical TPs or any TPs above 11700.

Doesn't either box have an LNB loopthrough ? That would be a better solution than buying one of these. Just take a cable from 'LNB out' on the master and feed it into the 'LNB in' on the slave.

as it says in the maplin details not sutable for sat, and even if you split the signal you will only be able to use one box at a time,

ps also disable the link like so _http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=29530&doy=12m4&C=SO&U=strat15

thanks guys, sorry about the link admin, didn't want to break any rules!
