2 E\F\G in Alicante, Spain

I am new in this community, and first of al, hi to everyone and sorry if this post does not fit un here.
I have a 120 dish in Alicante, Spain, directed to Astra 28.2E. I don't know if i can get Uk por Europe beam. I suppose Europe. I can see nearly all channels. CBS channels & CBeebies HD signal low at sunny and rainy days. Music transponder (Mágico, The box)... BBC Red Button 2-6 (now not transmitting), 4seven and some more HD channels (ITV) impossible to get...

I think you're doing well with a 1.2m dish (assuming it's a real 1.2m, not the Spanish version of the measurements) to get at least some of UK beam. No doubt you can improve a little. Can you let us know what dish you have, LNB, cable length, receiver, etc... Pictures always helpful to have.

Hi, I also have a 120m dish (spanish measure 120×110) alligned in Alicante. To be honest we fixed it to received Astra 2E. I received BBC HD channels, and ITV,s, channel 4 and 5 in SD.
As some members advised, with 1.2m is better to focus in one of the 3 sats as it is not big enough.

If you are getting CBeebies in HD you are getting Astra 2G.

If you are not getting ITVs even in SD you should realign the dish to the 2E.

What town in Alicante. Or do you mean Alicante city. Difference in signal between the 2 ends of the province is 3 dish sizes. Transponders that are an easy catch at the northern end are impossible at the southern end.
