2 new BBC1 HD's testing

My Location
Scottish Borders
Almost certainly for BBC1 HD Scotland & BBC1 HD Wales.

They can be found on 11023H 23000 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK tagged as 8901 / 8911

These cannot be added to Sky boxes as they are DVB-S2

Screen caps hopfully when the local news comes on as atm they are showing networked Pudsey related drivel.
 
Found these two a couple of hours ago, showing the circling thingy... but that shouldn't stay for long hopefully!
 
on skybox need update firmware future
anyway not posisible to add manualey freqnecy ?
 
Unless its changed recently Sky receivers cannot be made to tune DVB-S2 frequencies in Add Channels.

Solly the problem is there are only a handful symbol rates available on a Sky box when tuning manually, and also no 8PSK option.
 
yep, thats the problem: no SR 23000 on sky box (only 22000 and 27500)
 
For enthusiast yes, but remember the Sky receivers are not designed for use by folk with good technical skills. - They are designed to bring multi channel tv to your average clueless Joe Public who wouldnt know what to do with an lnb if you stuck one in his hands.
