Hi Good morning
I am using two receivers on motorised dish 2nd receiver is connected to loop out from 1st receiver. What will happen to lnb if both receivers are on same time as both try to send voltage to lnb. Any chance of burning the lnb.
lnb works on 13 or 18 volts.

No, the first receiver in the chain will block the voltage of the second receiver unless the first receiver is in standby then the second receiver will control the LNB.

Highest voltage wins

Thank you for all your contributions
Some times both receivers were on and working fine means no harm done to lnb.

Not all receivers have similar loopthrough characteristics so you might find one machine might work and another won't

The only ones I have connected in tandem have been Technomate 5402s and an Echostar something or other.

Good to know if both are working fine means it’s capable and won’t burn the lnb if both receivers are on same time.

technomate 5300 -RIK hotbird new 11179 frequency not scanning,no clue why its not picking it up

You need a receiver that is DVB-S2 compatible, your Technomate only does DVB-S.
