23.5 and 28.2

My Satellite Setup

Have a generic 1.0m dish, and need to receive 23.5 and 28.2. Wondering if there's a monoblock for this, or considering the size of the dish would I be able to get both sats on my Invacom quad LNB?

Also does anyone know of a decent univeral fit Multi LNB bracket? Not sure about that route though because of the close spacing.

Any advice welcome. Thanks.
 
Not possible using a monoblock. Can be achieved with narrow neck LNb's and offset arm on your dish. It's quite possible to mod a Triax offset bracket or use a universal type.

I did 23.5 and 28 on my TD110 dish with WNC quads, which aren't the smallest things. On a 1m i would have thought you would get away with standard LNB's like the Invertros. Though I've never tried for 28+23 on a 1m

Modding the TD bracket as Satelliteman suggests is your best bet. Though there are some cheap plastic brackets that sometimes come up on ebay that do the job. They don't look very professional though.
 
I get 16E / 23.5E / 28E no problem on an Orbital 1m using normal lnb's. No signals off Astra 3A, but 1E & 1G are fine. The prime focus is on 16E.

Is that a Zone 1? :confused:

Thanks to everyone for the pointers. Could I receive a decent signal for 23.5 on a Zone 1?
 
No, it is not a zone 1.

Though a zone 1 Sky/Freesat minidish can be used for 23.5E, but it won't receiver the German beam, even with the LNB at focus, as the dish is just too small.

I have never used one, but they are available on ebay.
 
They are indeed - I recently bought one from Worldwide Satellite for £7.99
 
Yes, they are cheap, nasty, horrible, tacky, plasticky things.;) But they do the job.
 
Ok, top stuff.

Found this and figured the spacing is about right considering I'd be using a 1m dish

Why do you think that the spacing would be about right? It says its for a 60cm dish. For a 1m dish the LNBs would be too close together.
 
4.3 degree will be no good as said above. Get your self an offset bracket.
What 1m dish do you have out of interest?
 
Mmmm someone's calculator batteries are low

28.2 - 23.5 = 4.7

or for 28.5 - 23.5 = 5.0 for Eurobird

I am only nit picking :) as it will still not work unless someone decides to manufacture a 5 degree monobloc

Found it was made by orbital, so going back next week with a multi-bracket as the vision multi bracket I had lying around was an unsuccesful bodge. Annoying dish, almost as bad as the Triax ones.

Gilbertini make multi LNB brackets but I think they are only available on the continent. Which is ridiculous as there must be a demand for them.

You could probably order one from the Netherlands or Germany, if you got a Gilbertini 1m.

Try a search for a Gibertini Multifeed holder.
