Yes - my TD110 gets a few BADR4 Channels, but the problem there is that although it's a worthy size, the line of sight is partially occluded. Chain-saw on standby.

That will be an interesting experiment... I get bursts of up to 2.9dB on 11747V and a steady 1.8dB on 11766H on my 1.2m Fibo...

I think JOHN896 was getting this on his 2.4m Channel Master in South Wales with a decent signal - was trying to search his posts but I get "Search limited from 29-April 12" when doing so.... so can't check for certain.
yes i am sure i read someone picking ad sports up on a 2.4 at all times c/j,

i like trying to tweek/messing with fringe and i am wanting to have a play with c band aswell, i do know where there is a 1.8 c/m but i just dont have the money atm, hopefully end of next month if its still there :-),

I actually get an awful lot from 26E here. At this time, the MBC transponder has been as strong as 75% on my TM-5200 last night! A 1m dish would be better at rejecting interference from the adjacent 23.5E/28.2E slots of course though.
BADR-4 is a relatively easy catch in UK. It's BADR-5 and 6 that are an issue.

Once BADR-7 is up there, I am guessing 4 will be retired and that's the loss of everything from 26E in UK, including the MBC channels. They are still on 7W on the old, soon to be replaced, Nilesat 102 as well as AB7, which is new but quite strong in UK and carrying MBC. Whether they'll stay there is another question.

Which will be a shame as, up here anyway, a lot of 7W is not an easy catch unlike 26E and the MBC channels are quite weak - indeed I only get a signal from them some of the time :(

Nilesat 102 at 7W is not bad down south with a 1.2m dish - about 7.4dB on the F15. On the 85cm dish, it's only watchable in the evenings in clear weather. BUT, it's fairly good on the AB7 transponder 12322V in all weathers. Check this on your setup - you'll be pleasantly surprised.

By the way, AB7 is at 7.3W, not 7.0W, so you may need to move your dish westwards a notch or two from the Nilesat 7.0W position to get maximum signal.

Yes and that's what is puzzling me :-crying I should be getting a similar number but I don't - it's more like 200. The dish is fine and in decent condition, I am using a decent sensitivity receiver (TM-5200) and still have issues :(

i will be putting my 1mtr dish back up in the next few days and i will report back, my 1.2 blows the 1mtr away so its not fair trying to compare signals from it :-).

Conditions are currently good enough to bring in the Badr 4 FSS beam Moroccan channels :)

12693V 27500 3/4

Its not perfect, theres some pixellization but I dont see these very often.

btw A/S have you scanned 26E in dvb-s2, I scanned it with the 1mtr the other day and it was pulling in more channels than my 1.2, I had to swap boxes to make sure nothing had moved out of line,
Yes - currently getting up to 176 channels off Badr 4 (depends on weather conditions!!)
that's about what I was getting from the 1.2 dvb s only, I scanned with the 1mtr dvb-s2 box and I was getting 220 ish, so I put the same box on the 1.2 and getting 255, 79 channels ive been missing out from and that's just one sat :-(
176 is with the lnb offset on the 21.5E dish, so dish size equivalent will be 90/95cm :)

11919 MBC is an easy catch which rather puts the lie to the "special beam" for it!
ive just tried again same box 1.2 dish found 255 1mtr found the same 255 clear sky today :-)

I can see the 12693V with the 1.2m Fibo at around 7.5dB with light drizzle.

That transponder is 12683V. Don't know why Pontiend's receiver shows it as 12693V. Maybe the LO is off frequency. My box won't even lock if I use that frequency.

I'm sure I've had that transponder (12683V) for a long time. Currently at L98% Q54% on my weaker TBS8920 PC card and 1m dish.

I realise that on lyngsat the transponder is 12683v.But the reason that 12693v is showing on my reciever is that that is the transponder that I used in advanced search.I have done it again with just that transponder in my reciever.I get the same eight channels.I do not know the answer. :) 26e 2.jpg

It matters little: Transponders carrying multiple Channels can be up to around 20MHz or so wide, so a relatively small discrepancy between a publicised nominal centre frequency and a close by one that is entered, searched or reported by a particular receiver is often irrelevant. But it can be somewhat more important when spare capacity is utilised to cram in odd single Channels.
