Yes, these are very high symbol rates that are used for data in the KA band. LHCP is left circular. Should be familiar to every DXer.

are they of any practical utility/interest for people who like to view interesting programs?
Or is it just the performance of being ABLE to receive them?

I receive these transponders with these high symbol rates with the TBS 6903X PC card as already written above. Personally, the only thing that matters to me is that these transponders can be received and displayed at all. As DXer, the content is usually closed to us.

I have to revise my statement about polarity. After some testing and better control over the new changer system, I come to the conclusion that it is clearly right circular.
