Well, you can slide the LNB in and out a bit, often you can optimise the signal that way. Many LNBs have a short neck, so theres not much scope for adjusting it, but the ultra single is particularly long and allows plenty of adjustment if needed.
cheers robbo, is there likely to be much difference by adjusting the lnb? havent got a sat meter so i.d just have to rely on the signal strength on a 800s.

well on motorised system which you have, you dont need to skew the lnb, just try moving it forward to the dish and then back again as it can make a difference on weak signals to find the optimum position
also you need to match the lnb to the dish as not every lnb will work well with all dishes.
cheers wod, was just a cheapo 1m pack i got off ebay, i dont think it performs too badly but might swap the lnb for a black twin when i get a minute.cheers.
