2D in southern Italy

My Satellite Setup
1 metre dish and Sky digital receiver
My Location
South Italy
Hi, I wonder if someone can offer me some advice ? I am not in Cyprus but the same issue applies to where I am in South Italy (about 80 miles west of Corfu). My calculations indicate that a dish size of 3 metres would give me adequate reception - can anyone comment please ?

Southern Italy is in a very poor 2D reception blackspot - you would probably need something considerably bigger than 3m!
