Fitted these this morning.
Took the multi feeds off the TD88 and moved it and replaced with TD110 an piut the multi feed on that.
Re fitted the TD88 and aligned to Thor for TV2 PL HD Norway.
The multi feed is 28.2e, 19.2e and 13e all fed into a TM5402 HD.
Nothing difficult, I know, but results were good and a happy man with a choice of football channels and lots more HD to watch.
They are in the NW of Ireland.

I like the multi LNB setups, thinking of abandoning the motor and using a couple of dishes instead.

Thanks. The multi feeds are very much quicker and a lot quieter (silent!!) than a motor, and easier to set up, well this was anyway.
The man I fitted for was using a motor but hated the noise and how slow it was. He was impressed by the satellite change speed of the multi feed.

You can always have a hybrid, to get the best of both worlds. Say you mainly watch 19ºE, 13ºE and 28ºE, you could setup a motorised dish, send it to 19ºE and then add another couple of LNBs for 13ºE and 28ºE. Set 13ºE, 19ºE and 28ºE to the same DiSEqC 1.2 position and select between them with a committed switch. That way you can flick between your 3 main positions without the dish moving, but it is still motorised for your less used positions.

ty for the reply, just got a half price offer from s~y today, the other half got it turned on as she was sick of waiting on me to get the dm500(more than likely a dirt cheap clone) working.... but its a rolling offer so i can cancel at anytime as far as i know.

i've always been fascinated by the big moving sat dish in peoples garden but am abit short on room and the hundreds of channels that i often heard that people can get:-worship,but have never seen what is possible with one, guess i'll have to find a house with one set up and do abita window licking to see how many channels etc that i could get:D and what lingo they would be in,i'll be totally honest,i know alot about computers but sat dishs and the 19e 13e etc i'm totally lost,i tried to find out/learn on a forum before one time but got nowhere, dunno if i was dumb or the people on the forum thought i was to dumb:D also it seemed everybody expected me to know before i joined....

i will not mention what i'd like to watch or methods as i'm afraid of breaking rules, respect for admins
thanks again for getting back :D
