I still can't get a sniff of anything on those 2 transponders - so, are the beams very tight, and if so then does anyone have any indication of the coverage (especially in the Southern UK)?

The moto GP feed on 11056V is locking here OK with a 1.5m dish in the Croydon area, not too far away from you.
Your dish is probably too small

We are well inside the coverage area so it looks like most sports feeds are on reduced power,
So you will need a 150 to 200cm dish for these signals here in the UK

I was getting it at 6.8db on a 1.8m Raven.. very weak. It's on 16e today for whatever reason, 12689 V 8000, Perhaps because 3W is busy with Sportball today
