lol until the next feed that is out of reach of a 1.5m - does it ever end...gone from 88cm Triax, to 1m Gbby, to 1.2 Laminas to 1.2CM - and now...looking at 1.5m's - my garden is a decent size, but limited for sat sigs, unless wall mounted or placed in middle of garden path
I started off with one of them flat squarial dishes for SKY, stangely enough when I lived in Sutton just a few hundred yards from the footy ground that was on the 3.0W feed tonight.
It became a natural progression for me.
0.6m --> 1.2m --> 1.5m --> 1.8m --> 2.0m --> 2.2m --> 2.4m --> 2.8m.
The handy thing about a mobile platform is that it can be wheeled around easily, immobilised when in service, costs next to nowt to build and can be stashed away when not in use.
I built mine from a free pallet from the local builders yard, a set of 4 castors from eBay costing a fiver, some metal and bolts for the immobilising system costing around £20 and a bit of gravel board and decking off cuts to reinforce it.
