If this new mux is available throughout whole spain, there should be a satellite feed

Until the beginning of this year UHD 1 & UHD 2 was satellite fed. But this feed isn't available anymore... Or it now is fibre fed or this feed is moved to another transponder which is not accessable with normal sat receivers.

On 30W, there are currently 7 active DVB-S2X transponders on which IP communication can take place
Perhaps they are also used by ABERTIS to test new technologies (since the encapsulation of TS in one pid and its encryption was not secure enough)

@Stevenvc19 do you mean pid 2060 on 11222 H? According to flysat there is tve 1 and tve 2 in hevc. If it was switched off there should be many nullbytes on this transponder.

No, I mean UHD Spain transponder which carried UHD Spain SDR & UHD Spain HDR (11382V)

So on 11382 V it was regular broadcast no pid encapsulation right?

I'm wondering if the new terrestrial mux is DVB-T1 or DVB-T2. If it is DVB-T2 T2-MI encapsulation via sat might be possible.

It is DVB-T2 as far as I know.

I tried to receive it using a DVB-T2 USB tuner in Santa Cruz de Tenerife earlier this year (TDT1 lists it there on channel E37 - CANALES TDT SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE - tv frecuencias ) but I didn't receive anything at all. The regular DVB-T muxes all came in fine.

As it's only available in big cities at the moment (The RTVE link says 60% population coverage), it could well be fibre-optic fed.

Yes 11382 V was a regular broadcast without encryption. To promote UHD content.
I just read that one of the two UHD Spain channels changed its name to TVE UHD (for the World Championchips).
On the website of UHD Spain you can stream the channel so mybe also the TVE UHD channel... But I guess it will be geoblocked outside spain. Otherwise it would have been easy to just use the stream url and put it in our E2 receiver as IPTV channel.

ABERTIS activated next transponder
10922 V DVB-S2/8PSK SR-16400 FEC-3/4

Good find! Just locks here with 8.4dB C/N. Data PID 802 with ~35Mbps of data - I would say this is very likely to be T2-MI if it's Abertis DTT, because the data rate is around the right level (DVB-T has a theoretical maximum of just under 32Mbps, but in practice the maximum used is much lower and in Spain is mostly 19.9Mbps).

The PID itself shows as encrypted in TransEdit, but unlike the other Abertis transponders there is no CA info being carried. Oddly the PAT lists the PID as being PMT, which must be a mistake. :D

So it's probably T2-MI, encrypted in BISS in that case.

Could be Abertis format, but T2-MI is more logical if it is indeed a DVB-T2 feed.

Since the name is HSA (HighSpeedAbertis) :rolleyes:
it will probably be re-encapsulated TS like the others
Code:
070a:0ce4aaaa:ea7e:0001:1:0:0
Abertis PID 802
p:ABERTIS,c:031fff,c:150322,C:2600,f:4
Code:
make_channel({
  name = "Abertis PID 802",
  input = {
    "http://localhost:8001/1:0:1:70A:EA7E:1:CE4AAAA:0:0:0:",
  },
  transform = {{
    format = "pipe",
      command = "/etc/astra/scripts/abertis 802",
  }},
  output = {
    "http://0.0.0.0:9999/abertis/pid802",
  },
})

Unsure if this is recent, but TPA9 on the Portuguese transponder (11496H) is now duplicating the Tele Deporte content in HD (Wimmins handball)

In any case Abertis would have no issue feeding their DVB-T2 transponders by their "regular" HSA methods. Besides their migration to T2-MI was just pure speculation to begin with!
Let's see...
