VERY offtopic, but it's so funny I understood that word immediately, a rarity for any Polish word!
Klejnot (Polish) = Kleinod (German) = Kleinood (Dutch) = a small jewel
Is there a similar sounding word in English?
 
I don't think so, but there is one in Danish: "Klenodie" meaning treasure - I've now realized it actually means "little treasure".
